The James E. Newby Jr. MD Foundation (Newby Foundation ) is a non-profit group of men and women dedicated to providing assistance to local people who are in need of healthcare, education or advocacy within the Commonwealth of Virginia, regardless of race, color or national origin.

Volunteers

We are primarily a volunteer organization with an elected board of directors and a small executive staff. Each board member commits for a term of one year.

Disease Reduction

Our primary objective is to minimize the negative personal and social impact of heart disease and chronic related conditions for individuals in the community. The goal is to insure that this community has the lowest incidence of undiagnosed/untreated heart problems in the United States.

Community Advocate

Secondary but equally important objectives is to address other non medical related issues which negatively impact our community.
