Newby Foundation partnered with The Historic First Baptist Church – Bute Street

On November 5, 2022 the Newby Foundation partnered with The Historic First Baptist Church – Bute Street to offer a COVID Booster and Flu Shot Clinic for the community. Thank you to our friends on the Sentara Health Equity Team (Iris Lundy and Vanessa Hill) for collaborating with us in such a big way! And a huge shout out to the best team of volunteers ever, led by Minister Evelyn Lee! With your support we were able to vaccinate over 100 people and distribute free COVID Home Test Kits.

The Newby Foundation and its army of dedicated volunteers has helped to put more than 4000 shots in arms since receiving the first allotment of COVID vaccines in January 2021!
