The Newby Foundation's mission is to bring together researchers, community activists, and physicians to reduce morbidity and death rates caused by COVID-19 infections and chronic related illnesses in Virginia. The foundation seeks to address healthcare disparities through education and promote trust in the healthcare industry by overhauling its perception. In addition, the foundation aims to provide funds and services to improve the health and welfare of Virginia's citizens.

 

To achieve these goals, the foundation will leverage an exciting media platform, an education and research agenda, and innovative strategies to understand cardiovascular death rates, with a focus on black and brown communities. The foundation is equally dedicated to disseminating accurate information about cardiovascular disease and chronic illnesses to patients, families, and medical professionals.

 

As new challenges arise in the community, the Newby Foundation will use all available resources to address them.
